Biography:

Sarah Owen is the Master Franchisee for Referral Institute UK.  Referral Institute is a global training and consulting business specializing in the niche topic of referral marketing.  Sarah launched the UK operation in May 2004.  Since then her team has trained over 2000 businesses helping them to increase their referred revenue.  Sarah’s successful career in sales for 18 years before she launched Referral Institute in the UK, was always founded on the generation of sales by referral.  She had two main careers – provision of Long Service Awards during her career with Mappin & Webb and management of employee benefit programmes during 10 years in the finance industry.

Her best kept secret during her Financial Services career is that she set up and managed a call centre of over 200 employees who were responsible for generating sales by cold calling!

Her father was a cricketer and her grandfathers were a professional rally driver and professional soccer player.  Her mother was an International Banker so her interests are Sport and business in that order!  She has an 11 year old son Nicholas.
